Kira began her skating career in Wisconsin. During her competitive years, she had the opportunity to skate synchro with the Fond du Lac Blades where she and her teammates earned many accolades between being national champions to being named part of Team USA. Kira transitioned to coaching in 2004 and has experience in coaching basic skills, freestyle and moves in the field. Her passion lies in taking a more holistic approach to skating where it’s less about how many gold medals you receive, but more about the love of the sport and having fun along the way.
